Sideboards Ireland
Sideboards for Irish dining rooms, from the Bahama at €750 to the Nevada Walnut at €8,200, with the matching bar cabinets and a serving trolley from the same collections. The sideboards are long, low cabinets, 190cm to 242cm across and 82cm to 100cm high, with doors and drawers for tableware and a top for serving; the bar cabinets stand 141cm to 165cm tall with a drinks shelf behind ribbed doors. Every collection here also has a dining table and chairs, so the room can match.
See the Aisha, Milano and Deluxe sideboards in our Portlaoise showroom (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm) or order online. In-stock pieces are delivered nationwide in 7 to 14 working days; made-to-order pieces take 12 to 16 weeks. Every piece carries a two-year warranty.

Before you buy storage furniture
- Hinged doors need clearance to swing. Sliding doors need none, but lose roughly 10cm of internal depth.
- Measure floor to ceiling including coving — and check a tall unit can be tilted upright once it is in the room.
- Skirting boards hold furniture 2–3cm off the wall. Allow for it when measuring an alcove.
- Check the drawers or doors still open fully with your bed or radiator where it is.
Not sure? Ask our showroom team and we will help you size it up.
Sideboards in Ireland: What Is in the Range
Twenty-one sideboards, eight bar cabinets and one serving trolley. The sideboards are the same long cabinets we list as console tables for the hall, because in a dining room the job is the same: closed storage below and a surface on top. The bar cabinets are the tall pieces from the same collections. For the table and chairs to match, see the dining sets, dining tables and dining chairs.

- Black and walnut sideboards: the Monaco Black (€4,200), Braga (€4,920), Senato (€4,620), Galante (€4,270), Ricamo (€3,930), Parma with a marble-effect top (€4,130) and the Nevada Walnut (€8,200).
- Mirrored sideboards: the Prestige with LED lighting (€3,100), Pera with two drawers and two wall mirrors (€2,980), Deluxe with LED and two mirrors (€2,920, in the showroom), Asos with its square mirror (€2,550) and the Aisha in mirrored gold (€1,800, in the showroom).
- Bar cabinets: the Casto (€2,530), Leora (€2,730), Galante (€3,050), Ecrue (€3,050), Ricamo (€3,290), Parma with a marble-effect top (€3,650), Senato (€5,470) and the Nevada Walnut with curved doors (€6,280), plus the Casto glass serving trolley on wheels (price on request).
Sideboard Sizes for the Dining Room
A sideboard wants about 90cm of clear floor in front of it so chairs can be pulled out and the doors opened. The pieces here are 45cm to 58cm deep, so on a dining room wall of 3m or more any of them fits; in a narrower room start with the 45cm-deep Bahama and Pamukkale or the 49cm Braga. Heights of 82cm to 100cm put the top at serving height beside a 75cm table. The Milano, Pera, Deluxe and Asos come with wall mirrors that hang above them and tie the wall together.
Mirrored Sideboards
Five sideboards are finished in tempered mirror over a metallic base and read as lighter than the wood pieces in a small dining room. The Prestige and Deluxe have LED lighting built in, the Pera and Deluxe come with two wall mirrors and the Asos with one, and the Aisha is the compact four-door option at €1,800. They match the mirrored beds and dressing tables of the same collections, so a mirrored dining room and bedroom can share a finish.
Bar Cabinets and Drinks Storage
Eight of the collections add a bar cabinet: a tall unit, 100cm to 130cm wide and 141cm to 165cm high, with a drinks shelf and glass storage behind ribbed or fluted doors, on the same gold, bronze or black base as its sideboard. The Casto bar has an oval glass display panel; the Nevada has curved walnut doors. The Casto serving trolley, with glass shelves in an antique gold frame on wheels, moves between the sideboard and the table.
Matching a Sideboard to the Dining Table
The Lyon, Parma, Casto, Ecrue, Monaco, Milano, Leora, Galante, Senato, Ricamo, Nevada and Braga sideboards each have a dining table, chairs and in most cases a bar in the same finish, sold together as a dining set or separately. For a table from another shop, the cream sideboards suit marble, glass and white tables and the walnut and black sideboards suit oak and dark wood.
Delivery, Installation and Warranty

Sideboard Questions
What is the difference between a sideboard and a console table?
A sideboard is a low cabinet with doors used in a dining room; a console table is traditionally a narrow table for a hall. Our long cabinets do both jobs, so they appear on both pages.
Which sideboards come with a mirror?
The Milano, Pera, Deluxe and Asos are sold with matching wall mirrors. The Lyon, Casto and Parma have a matching mirror available separately.
Can I see the sideboards before I order?
The Aisha, Milano and Deluxe sideboards are in our Portlaoise showroom, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The bar cabinets are made to order and we can show you the finish samples.
Do you deliver sideboards outside Laois?
Yes, we deliver and install across Ireland. Call us on 045 433 585 or send an enquiry with your wall width and we will recommend a sideboard.
