Dining chairs and kitchen chairs for Irish homes, from the Tower chair at €140 to the Nevada cream and brown chair at €1,140. Fifty-four designs: upholstered chairs in cream, gold, grey, black and white; velvet and boucle seats; wooden chairs; and five made-to-order chairs built in the fabric you choose. Most come from collections that also include a dining table, so the set can match.
Twenty-nine of the chairs are on the floor in our Portlaoise showroom (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm), so you can sit on them before you order. In-stock chairs are delivered nationwide in 7 to 14 working days; made-to-order chairs take 12 to 16 weeks. Every chair carries a two-year warranty.

Before you buy a dining set
- Allow 60cm of table edge per person. A 180cm table seats six comfortably, eight at a squeeze.
- Leave 90–100cm between the table and the wall so chairs pull out without hitting anything.

Kitchen Chairs or Dining Chairs?
They are the same chairs. In Ireland a kitchen chair is usually the one that lives at the everyday table and gets the most use, so it wants a wipeable fabric and a frame that shrugs off being dragged. The Tower (€140), Bahama (€340), Boston, Alp, Neva and Togo chairs are the ones we sell most for kitchens; the faux leather and marble-effect chairs wipe clean. The cream and gold chairs from the Lyon, Parma, Casto and Ecrue collections are the ones customers keep for the dining room.
Dining Chair Sizes and How Many Fit Your Table
Most chairs here are 48cm to 59cm wide and 81cm to 94cm high at the back; the Galante and Nevada are the widest at 70cm. Allow 60cm of table edge per chair, so a 120cm table seats two a side, a 160cm table three a side and a 180cm table three a side with room to spare. Seat heights are standard, so any chair here works with a 75cm to 78cm table. If the table has an apron or a marble top, check the arm height of the Galante and Nevada before choosing them.
Matching Chairs to a Dining Table
The Lyon, Parma, Casto, Ecrue, Milano, Leora, Galante, Senato, Braga and Nevada chairs come from collections with a dining table of the same name, so the frame finish and fabric match. The Deluxe, Pera, Prestige and Asos chairs match the mirrored dining tables from their collections. For a table from another shop, the cream chairs suit marble, glass and white tables, the grey chairs suit oak and walnut, and the black chairs give the strongest contrast on a light table. Several of these chairs also double as vanity chairs at a dressing table.
Delivery, Installation and Warranty
We deliver nationwide. In-stock chairs are delivered within 7 to 14 working days; made-to-order chairs take about 12 to 16 weeks, confirmed when you order. A 50% deposit secures a made-to-order chair and the balance is paid before delivery. All furniture carries a two-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Can I buy dining chairs on their own, without a table?
Yes. Every chair on this page is sold individually, so you can buy two, four, six or eight to suit your table.
Which dining chairs can be made in my own fabric?
The Olivia, Viola, Lici, Sirius and Wood Crea are made to order in your fabric and colour. The rest are supplied in the fabric shown.
Can I see the dining chairs before I order?
Twenty-nine of them are in our Portlaoise showroom, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, including the Tower, Deluxe, Milano and Lyon. We keep fabric swatches for the made-to-order chairs.
Do you deliver dining chairs outside Laois?
