Four pouffes and four benches. The pouffes are square or round upholstered stools on a gold or metallic base, about 40cm high, which puts them level with the seat of our armchairs for use as a footstool. The benches are long, low and upholstered, 130cm to 160cm wide, for the foot of a bed or a hall. For a lift-up base with storage under the mattress, see the ottoman beds; for seating at the table, the dining benches.
A footstool is any low stool you rest your feet on; a pouffe is the upholstered, usually cushioned version with no visible frame. All four pouffes here have a padded top on a low base, so they do both jobs, and at 47cm to 58cm across they also work as a spare seat or, with a tray on top, a small table beside a sofa. Match the pouffe to the armchair from the same collection: the Milano, Casto, Senato and Nevada armchairs and sofas share the same fabric and base finish.
An end-of-bed bench gives you somewhere to sit to put on shoes and somewhere to lay out clothes, and at 45cm to 48cm high it sits just below the mattress so it does not block the bed. The Galante, Casto and Senato benches at 160cm span the foot of a 150cm king bed; the Ecrue at 130cm suits a double. Each comes from the collection of the same name, so the bench matches the bed, bedside lockers and chest of drawers in the bedroom sets. In a hallway the same benches sit under a console table or against a wall by the door.

A 50% deposit secures a made-to-order piece and the balance is paid before delivery. All furniture carries a two-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. No. The four pouffes are solid upholstered stools. For storage, the ottoman beds have a lift-up base and the sofa beds with an ottoman section lift for bedding.
The Milano, Casto, Senato and Nevada pouffes are made in the same fabric and base finish as the armchairs and sofas of those names. For any other chair, the Casto quilted pouffe in cream and gold is the most neutral.
The Senato bench is in our Portlaoise showroom, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The pouffes are made to order and we can show you the fabric alongside the matching armchair.
