Roller Blinds, Measured and Fitted in Ireland

A roller blind looks simple, which is exactly why the measuring matters: a few millimetres too narrow and thereโ€™s a light gap down each side; too wide and it wonโ€™t sit in the recess at all. We measure your window ourselves, make the blind to that exact size, and fit it โ€” inside the recess for a clean, built-in look, or on the wall outside it to cover the whole frame. Every blind comes with a chain, or a chain-free system thatโ€™s the safe choice for homes with children.

Roller blinds are one of our made to measure blind types. For a softer, fabric look that matches your curtains, see our roman blinds.

Roller Blind Fabrics

The fabric decides what the blind does. Three families cover almost every window:

Blackout roller blind

Blackout

True blackout fabric for bedrooms and nurseries โ€” add a cassette with side rails for the tightest seal. See our blackout blinds page for the full detail.

Light-filtering roller blind in a living room

Light-filtering & sunscreen

Softens the light and stops glare while keeping the room bright and the view visible โ€” the living room and home office favourite. Plain, textured and patterned fabrics.

Wipeable PVC roller blind in a kitchen

Wipeable PVC

Moisture-proof, wipe-clean fabric for kitchens and bathrooms โ€” steam, splashes and condensation donโ€™t mark it. Flame-retardant fabrics are available too.

Sizes, Fit and Operation

Any size, made to measure

From a small bathroom window to a wide patio door โ€” we make to the exact width and drop, so โ€œ150cmโ€ is whatever your window actually measures.

Recess or face fit

Inside the recess for a neat, built-in look; on the wall outside it to cover the whole frame and block more light. Weโ€™ll advise which suits your window.

Chain or chain-free

Standard chain, a chain-free spring system with no cords for child safety, or full motorisation with remote or app control.

How Much Do Roller Blinds Cost?

Every blind is measured and quoted for its own window โ€” the price depends on size, fabric, cassette options and whether you go chain-free or motorised. Roller blinds are usually the most economical made to measure blind. Your written quote is free, itemised and no-obligation, and it includes fitting.

Roller Blinds โ€” Common Questions

Inside the recess gives the neatest, built-in look and keeps the sill usable. Outside (face fit) covers the whole frame, blocks more light and suits shallow recesses or tilt & turn windows. We measure for whichever you choose โ€” or advise on the day.

Chain-free is the safe choice for any home with young children โ€” no cords at all, the blind lifts and lowers by hand on a spring. A standard chain suits high or hard-to-reach windows; motorisation suits both.

We do better than cut to size โ€” every blind is made to your windowโ€™s exact measurements from the start, so the fabric, tube and fittings all match the width. No trimmed edges, no gaps.

Roller is the simpler, slimmer choice with the widest fabric range. Day & night blinds add adjustable light control through alternating sheer and solid panels โ€” worth it in living rooms and offices where you change the light through the day.
